The Scarred Continent

Orphaned by the Abyss's encroaching shadows, Elara wields the Whispering Scroll, a forbidden artifact that manifests the forgotten histories and hidden weaknesses of any foe. In a world of five continents, where gods slumber and demigods meddle, she navigates the opulent, yet treacherous, courts of Altheria alongside two unlikely companions. Corrupt noble houses and fanatic cults have turned a blind eye to the encroaching demonic blight, valuing power over salvation. Elara must master her volatile gift, confronting ancient monstrosities and human depravity alike, to piece together the prophecy that could save their fractured world from a cruel, nameless enemy. But every truth revealed by the Scroll demands a toll, threatening her sanity and the very fabric of reality.
