In a realm where steel and spirit intertwine, Kaito, the last heir of a forgotten samurai clan, walks a lonely path. Disgraced and haunted by a past failure, his only companion is the ancestral katana, 'Tsukikage' – Moonlit Shadow. This isn't merely steel; blessed by ancient lunar kami, Tsukikage grants Kaito the ethereal Sight, allowing him to perceive the encroaching blight of malevolent yokai and spirits that feast upon the fading light of humanity. As the sun sets, casting long, unsettling shadows, once-sacred lands are twisted into grotesque mockeries, and villages fall silent, their inhabitants spirited away by unseen horrors.
