The Leper's Ledger

In the frigid city of Bryzgrad, Semyon is a Corpse-Tender, a reviled healer whose only 'gift' is to grant the dead a painless passing. When the celebrated Gilded Gryphons - the very heroes who framed him for heresy - capture him, they force him into their service. They see a disposable tool; they don't know his secret. Semyon wields the [Ledger of Last Rites], a unique System that allows him to do the impossible: reverse death itself. He plays the part of the meek subordinate, mending their fatal wounds and bringing them back from the brink, all while meticulously plotting their social and political ruin. He fuels their glory with his power, making them legends while he remains an invisible footnote. But the Ledger has its own price. Semyon soon discovers that for every death he erases, a portion of his own being is permanently rendered from the world. With his time unknowingly running out, can he complete his cold revenge before his secret power consumes him entirely?
