Home/Historical/The Scroll-Weaver's Peculiar Predicaments

Elara Finch, a cynical, overlooked scribe in the Imperial Library, finds her mundane life shattered when a spilled inkwell and a forgotten spellbook grant her a most peculiar power: the accidental summoning of perfectly anachronistic, yet oddly useful, modern objects. From a self-stirring cauldron (it's actually a washing machine) to a communication device that only works on ancient ley lines, her world of quills and parchment is now hilariously invaded by bizarre technologies. But when a forgotten curse begins to awaken ancient, world-devouring entities beneath the kingdom, Elara's seemingly useless talents become surprisingly critical. The humorless Archon Veridian, chief enforcer of arcane purity, now relentlessly hunts her, mistaking her chaotic magic for a deliberate threat. To save herself and a realm teetering on the brink of magical collapse, Elara must overcome her debilitating fear of inadequacy and accept that sometimes, the only way to save history is to mess it up a little.
