In the Aethelgard Bastion, where celestial Edicts determine one's worth, Milosz Vodya is a C-rank healer, known more for his sunny disposition and clumsiness than his skill. He serves in the party of Damian Valerov, an S-rank prodigy whose Edict, 'King's Blade', allows him to cut down any foe. Damian sees Milosz as a necessary but replaceable accessory, unaware that his immense power is not his own - it is secretly channeled from Milosz, the true holder of the Edict. Milosz plays the part of a fool perfectly, all while nursing a cold, calculated plan for revenge against the Valerov family, who destroyed his home. He believes his ability can only transfer power, a misunderstanding that has shaped his entire strategy. But when Damian’s arrogance leads to a catastrophic failure in Milosz’s absence, the team is shattered, and Milosz is forced to reveal a sliver of his true ability: the power to not just heal, but to reverse death itself.
