The Ravencrest Chronicles: Ascension of the Sickle

After a lifetime confined to a sickbed, Charles, a brilliant but frail youth, awakens in Ravencrest, a world brimming with elemental magic. His delicate features and analytical mind are now his greatest assets, but his true cheat lies in his connection to Isabella, an ancient fairy soul bound within a silver sword he discovered. Teaming up with Taylor, a formidable hunter whose grounded wisdom contrasts Charles's strategic brilliance, they navigate the 'Peaceful Era' - a deceptive calm before an encroaching shadow. Charles yearns for a life unburdened by frailty, a chance to truly live. But a growing anomaly threatens Ravencrest's very essence, demanding that Charles not just survive, but become an unlikely hero, or risk losing this newfound existence to the encroaching blight. His past weakness fuels a desperate need for control, pushing him to master powers beyond his understanding.
