The Jackal Who Stole the Sun

Ixtli was just a struggling comic artist until he woke up inside his own creation, 'The Fifth Sun's Eclipse'. Worse, he's not the stoic, overpowered hero, Acatl, but a nameless, doomed-to-die scout in the first chapter. Furious but resourceful, Ixtli decides to use his meta-knowledge to usurp Acatl's destiny. He'll manipulate events from the shadows, steal the legendary 'Heart of the Obsidian Sun', and win the affection of the fierce warrior priestess, Itzel, who was meant to be the hero's love interest. But the world doesn't follow his script perfectly. Characters act with their own wills, and a mysterious, brutal transmigrator calling herself 'The Editor' appears, wielding powers Ixtli never wrote and methodically dismantling his world. His only clue is a fragmented memory of his past self, a final desperate message warning him that this transmigration wasn't an accident - it was a contingency plan for a disaster he couldn't stop. Can Ixtli outwit his own hero, defeat a rival who knows all his secrets, and seize control of the world he only thought he understood?
