The Fallen Vampire Prince

Kael, the exiled and crippled prince of the Kingdom of Night, is dragged through the dirt of the ancient Victorian forests, stripped of his royal birthright. While escaping his executioners, he falls onto a shattered altar in a ruined temple. His bleeding wounds coat a forgotten relic, awakening the long-silent Goddess of Blood and Prosperity. Discarded by modern vampires, she grants Kael a terrifying heresy: the ability to violently rip the sacred back-markings from other vampires, digesting them into raw, peerless blood energy. In a society where power is measured by the eight sacred markings on one's back - where even the strongest emperors only ever unlocked six - Kael's forbidden cheat makes him a walking blasphemy. Armed with his cold, calculating fury and a divine mandate, Kael must hunt his own kin, harvest their marks, and tear down the high-vampire council that left him for dead. To survive, he must devour the very lineage that disowned him.
