The Beast's Blessing

Elara, an ostracized young woman with an unyielding need for companionship, ventures into the Whispering Peaks, a forbidden realm rumored to harbor ancient secrets. There, she discovers a peculiar, orphaned creature - small, timid, and seemingly harmless. Defying all warnings, Elara brings it home, nurturing it with a desperate affection she's never known. As the 'pet' rapidly matures, its true monstrous form emerges, radiating an aura of primal power. While it remains fiercely protective of Elara, its mere existence draws the fearful wrath of the superstitious villagers. Now, Elara must protect her loyal companion from a world determined to destroy it, even if it means sacrificing her own safety and confronting the very prejudices that have shaped her lonely life.
