Seok arrives at Ellington University, an enigma immediately dissected by its student body. His striking features ignite both fervent admiration and cruel curiosity, his Korean heritage reduced to a spectacle of thoughtless remarks. Amidst this dehumanizing scrutiny, Tazaki stumbles into his life within the hallowed halls of the library. Unlike others who barrage him with superficial questions or fixate on his appearance, she offers a profound rarity: genuine normalcy. Seok, scarred by past betrayals and constant objectification, remains deeply skeptical, convinced her kindness is merely another performance. Yet, Tazaki, captivated by the quiet depth she glimpses beneath his guarded exterior, finds him irresistibly intriguing. Their unexpected encounters begin to challenge his jaded perspective and her own preconceived notions of connection, setting the stage for a romance that defies the judgments of their world.
