Kaelen, an outcast ash-bender, bears the stigma of a power long associated with decay and destruction. His world, once vibrant with elemental harmony, now slowly succumbs to the encroaching Ashblight – a creeping malady that drains life and leaves only dust. Haunted by a past tragedy where his unique ability seemed to amplify ruin, Kaelen lives in self-imposed exile, shunning the very power that flows in his veins. He believes his bending is a curse, responsible for past calamities. But when the Ashblight intensifies, consuming revered elemental sanctuaries and threatening to engulf his last remaining haven, Kaelen is forced to confront not only the world's prejudice but also his own deep-seated fear.
