Humanity is cattle, farmed by the monstrous Specters that shattered the world. In the slums, an amnesiac boy claws his way toward one goal: becoming an Conduit to harvest the monsters' power. But his dream shatters when he's deemed ineligible—a Echo's taint already stains his soul. Just as hope fades, a shadowy figure arrives with an impossible proposition.
