Chronicles of the Rune Weaver

Elara, a timid apprentice rune weaver, lives under the shadow of the Obsidian Scourge, a blight that slowly petrifies all magic. Her quiet existence shatters when her master is consumed, leaving Elara with a single, cryptic rune and a desperate plea to seek the 'Heart of Aethelgard.' Unbeknownst to her, this rune grants her the ability to metabolize raw mana directly from the world, an act deemed heresy, yet the only hope against the Scourge. As the petrification spreads, threatening to turn every spell caster and magical creature to stone, Elara must navigate a world that fears her unique power, hunted by the very enforcers sworn to protect magic. Her journey to unlock the rune's true potential is a race against time and a confrontation with the ancient secrets of Aethelgard, where the line between salvation and destruction blurs with every spell she weaves.
