Fifteen-year-old Tommy Innit wears a bright, cheerful smile while hiding a grotesque secret. By day, he serves coffee at a bustling local cafe, seeking a shred of normalcy. By night, he clashes violently with the city's top heroes. His only solace is Wilbur, a cafe regular who has become a surrogate older brother to him. In a cruel twist of fate, Wilbur is the civilian identity of the arrogant hero Tommy fights weekly and utterly despises. Living a double life, Tommy laughs off his stress during late-night Minecraft sessions, yelling at the screen while Wilbur chuckles beside him. But as the psychological toll of his secret villain identity mounts, Tommy's desperate craving for family collides with his bloody reality. When his two worlds inevitably crash, his lethal powers might destroy the only person he actually loves.
