The Cursed Swamp's Divine Mud Hut
By @john1208
Tevis Obolga was ripped from Earth and summoned before the arrogant Vyraki Empire, only to be publicly laughed out of the capital when his appraisal revealed the 'Trash' class: Mud-Tiller. Banished to the whispering, fog-drenched Gloommires, Tevis couldn't be happier. All he wants is a quiet life fishing in the swamp. But when he cheerfully slaps together a simple mud hut using the cursed soil, it begins radiating an oppressive, world-shaking divine aura. Soon, eldritch swamp horrors are timidly tilling his cabbage patches, and Oksia, an exiled princess, is bowing at his feet, convinced he is an ancient deity. Told in alternating third-person perspectives between Tevis's cozy, oblivious farming thoughts and Oksia's awe-struck reverence, the story follows the duo as the corrupt empire assumes Tevis is raising a demonic army. As Tevis effortlessly swats away world-ending beasts with a fishing rod, he uncovers chilling clues left by the swamp's original, forgotten god - a god who seems to have his exact handwriting. Did Tevis really get summoned by accident, or is this eerie paradise exactly what his past self designed for a peaceful retirement eons ago?
