To nineteen-year-old Adam, the massive, decrepit estate on Elm Street is a nightmare gifted by his wealthy, uncaring parents—a forced move to keep him close to his new college. Known to locals as the Old Black House, it is a structure where every previous owner vanished without a trace. Adam soon discovers why. Inside the walls dwells Ethan, an ancient, shape-shifting monster who claims the dark. Drawn to Adam’s gentle, fragile nature, Ethan decides the boy belongs to him. When night falls, the terror begins. Terrified, Adam fights back, using light, salt, and desperate screams to drive the entity away. But his resistance only infuriates the beast. Realizing his prey won't submit willingly, Ethan abandons his subtle torment and decides to take Adam by force. In this claustrophobic trap, Adam must survive the night, knowing that once the sun sets, the house itself wants to consume him.

When Ethan lays eyes on the gentle, fragile Adam, his hunger mutates from a desire to consume into a dark, obsessive urge to possess. By day, the house is a silent prison, but at night, Ethan emerges to terrorize the boy. Desperate to maintain his sanity, Adam screams and uses every makeshift weapon to repel the nightmare. Realizing his prey won't submit willingly, Ethan abandons his subtle mind games, deciding to break Adam's spirit and claim him by absolute force.
