Nineteen-year-old Adam wants nothing more than a peaceful college life, a dream his parents supported by purchasing him a cheap, historic home near campus. Known to locals as the Old Black House, the property carries a sickening history: every previous owner has vanished without a trace. Deep within its rotting floorboards dwells Ethan, an ancient, shape-shifting malevolence that has claimed the house for centuries. When Ethan lays eyes on the gentle, fragile Adam, his hunger mutates from a desire to consume into a dark, obsessive urge to possess. By day, the house is a silent prison, but at night, Ethan emerges to terrorize the boy. Desperate to maintain his sanity, Adam screams and uses every makeshift weapon to repel the nightmare. Realizing his prey won't submit willingly, Ethan abandons his subtle mind games, deciding to break Adam's spirit and claim him by absolute force.
