Where the Violets Weep

Bastien Valois is a painter with more debt than inspiration. His last hope is a dirt-cheap inheritance: a decaying manor in the rain-slicked town of Brumeport. But the house comes with a tenant - a voice in his head named Léonie, the ghost of a girl who died within its walls. She can't see the world, but she can see his memories, and he can only hear her voice, a constant, bittersweet presence. Together, they piece together the fragmented memories of her 'accidental' death. As Bastien paints her recollections, a chilling truth emerges from the canvas: Léonie wasn't alone when she died. To save his younger sister from the malevolent presence that still clings to the manor, Bastien must finish the final portrait. But what happens when the face that emerges from the paint isn't the gentle girl he's come to love, but the monster who put her there?
