What The Scales Weigh

Roland Wrynn remembers a life that wasn't his, but Exandria does not care for ghosts. Reborn on the freezing, paranoid streets of the Dwendalian Empire, he is plagued by a volatile, draconic sorcery humming in his veins. To survive the looming war between the Empire and the Xhorhasian dynasty, Roland uses his meta-knowledge to seek out the only anomalies capable of shifting the balance: a ragtag band of misfits known as the Mighty Nein. Yet, as he maneuvers into their orbit, Roland’s cold, calculating nature clashes with their chaotic warmth. When the ancient Beacons of Dunamancy begin reacting to his foreign soul, Roland is forced to choose between using these broken heroes as shields or actually standing with them. With the Cerberus Assembly watching his every move, his stolen knowledge becomes a target. To tip the scales of fate, he must decide what he is willing to sacrifice: his calculated safety, or his newly found humanity.
