What If Abby Never Returned?

Buck, a charming but deeply insecure LA firefighter, is adrift after Abby's sudden departure, leaving him with an unread message and a hollow ache. He throws himself into reckless rescues, his bravado a flimsy mask over a profound fear of abandonment. Just as his world feels most unstable, a new, grounded paramedic, Eddie Diaz, joins the 118, radiating a quiet strength that both irritates and fascinates Buck. As their paths intertwine amidst blazing infernos and heart-wrenching emergencies, Buck finds himself increasingly drawn to Eddie's steady presence. But can he overcome his crippling fear of being left behind and open his heart to a love that might finally be real, or will his past emotional wounds sabotage his chance at true happiness?
