Unstable Foundations

Janna Saari is the rising star of Kuusamo City's architectural scene, known for her sharp tongue and even sharper designs. Her life's mission: to publicly humiliate Stellan Kallas, the infuriatingly brilliant and aloof competitor who stole her magnum opus right out from under her. But her plans for revenge are shattered by a cryptic delivery - a single, perfect, impossible-to-grow Omenbloom, a flower used by assassins as a final warning. It's not for her. It's an invitation from Stellan himself, who has survived seventeen assassination attempts and needs the one person he knows can out-think his enemies to build him an impenetrable sanctuary. Forced to work side-by-side on his private island, their rivalry ignites into a war of blueprints and banter. But as Stellan's carefully constructed walls begin to show cracks of vulnerability, Janna realizes the greatest threat isn't just to his life, but to the professional hatred she's meticulously built. Can she design a fortress to save her enemy without letting him breach her own defenses?
