SYNOPSIS Seventeen-year-old Mizuno Hina loves athletics and dreams of competing at an elite level. After being underestimated during middle school and realizing that the opportunities she wants are unavailable to her, Hina discovers Seishin Sports Academy, a prestigious all-boys boarding school famous for its sports program. There is only one problem: Hina is a girl. Determined to prove herself, Hina cuts her long hair short, changes her appearance and mannerisms, and enrolls under a slightly altered version of her name, intending to live as a boy for three years. Her disguise is carefully planned - until she discovers that one of her classmates is Kurosawa Ren, her childhood best friend whom she has not seen since middle school. Ren recognizes her almost immediately from her habits and childhood nickname. Hina panics and begs him to keep her secret. Ren agrees, becoming her reluctant secret-keeper while teasing her whenever her disguise nearly fails. At Seishin, Hina must survive boys' dormitory life, team training, competitions, school festivals, friendships, rivalries, and increasingly suspicious classmates. As she becomes closer to her teammates, several boys begin developing feelings for her without knowing she is actually a girl. Meanwhile, Ren slowly realizes that his feelings for his childhood friend have changed. Hina came to Seishin to prove she belongs among elite athletes. Instead, she finds friendship, rivalry, romance, and a second chance with the childhood friend she thought she had lost. --- CHRONOLOGICAL STORY OUTLINE ARC 1 - BEFORE SEISHIN 1.
