Theia and The Lion

Maria Fernanda, a brilliant 24-year-old Brazilian international law master's student, built a life of academic rigor in Lisbon after moving at seventeen. Her meticulously constructed world, a shield against past vulnerabilities, shatters when she encounters Gonçalo Inácio, a 25-year-old rising star center-back for Sporting CP. Hailing from humble beginnings in Monteiro, Paraíba, Maria Fernanda finds herself drawn to the magnetic, yet equally guarded, Portuguese footballer from Almada. Their worlds are polar opposites: her, intellectual and pragmatic; him, passionate and driven by the roar of the stadium. Can a woman who believes in predictable justice find love with a man whose life is a constant game of chance and raw emotion, especially when a shared, traumatic past threatens to resurface and destroy everything they try to build together?
