Until, that is, the day he began to hear them: the Story Harmonics. Whispers of an overarching narrative, complete with dramatic foreshadowing and character arcs. Specifically, during the forthcoming Grand Conservatory Gala, he was destined to trip, spill the Elder Maestro’s prized vintage ‘Fortuna Tonic,’ and be subsequently crushed by a falling piece of scenery. All to kickstart the heroic journey of the Conservatory’s destined star, the brilliant Lysander Thorne. Armed with this absurd, meta-narrative knowledge, Casper must now navigate the perilous 'plot points' of his own existence, attempting to orchestrate his survival without disrupting the entire symphony of fate. Befriending the destined protagonist might offer a slim chance, but becoming an obstacle would undoubtedly lead to a dramatic, and definitive, end.
