Synopsis

Fan Zíān, a vibrant culinary student, drowns in her bathtub, only to awaken naked and shivering in a parallel version of her own city. This Terra mirrors Earth almost perfectly, save for one terrifying distinction: invisible entities known as "Rule Horrors" enforce an ever-shifting, arbitrary set of lethal prohibitions. Unaware of these deadly laws, every instinctual action Fan Zíān takes could trigger her demise. From the simple act of breathing too loudly to walking on a specific pavement tile, unintentional transgressions lead to brutal, inescapable consequences. With no special abilities, her only hope for survival lies in deciphering the unspoken, deadly etiquette of this bizarre world, where power isn't gained, but carefully ceded through absolute, terrifying obedience. Her journey is a desperate scramble to comprehend and conform, or face an unthinkable end.
