The Tulip Algorithm

In my first life, I was Lieselotte de Graaf, a wallflower who watched helplessly as my brilliant grandfather, Kasper, withered away from a misdiagnosed illness. His death was the first domino in our family’s spectacular collapse. When a freak accident sends me back five years, I’m armed with a single goal: save Opa. The plan is simple. Use my future knowledge to secretly invest in 'Tulip', a laughably small start-up that will one day revolutionize the world, and use the profits to get Opa the radical treatment he needs. But every time I nudge fate, it shoves back harder. My investment creates a bizarre market panic. The doctor I bribe to re-diagnose Opa wins the lottery and retires to a private island. And now, the ruthless CEO of a rival corporation, Bastiaan van Dijk, is convinced I’m some kind of industrial espionage prodigy, not a terrified girl running on coffee and desperation. How can I save my grandfather when the universe seems to have a sick sense of humor, and my greatest ally might be the one setting all the dominoes up to fall?
