The Tactician's Gambit for the Altar

Captain Eva Rostova was a master of modern warfare, until a battlefield explosion thrust her into the body of Lady Kasia Volkov, a political hostage in the hostile Zemyan Empire. Publicly humiliated and left for dead, Kasia uses her strategic mind not for war, but for commerce, building a business empire from a simple bar of soap. Her ingenuity and ruthless efficiency capture the attention of Kaelan, the enigmatic Grand Mage, whose interest is as dangerous as it is alluring. As Kasia introduces revolutionary tactics and technologies, she believes she is uplifting this backward world and earning her freedom. She follows the whispers of the 'Ancients' - divine guidance that rewards her progress with power. But the more she builds, the more she realizes her allies have hidden agendas and the 'guidance' feels more like a cage. Is she truly a harbinger of progress, or just a pawn in a divine game with rules she has fatally misunderstood?
