The Somnolent Cipher

Dr. Janek Mrozek, a medical prodigy whose career flatlined after a near-fatal research accident, now drifts through life with cynical detachment. His only connections are to his younger sister, Milena, and the strange, recurring dreams of a woman named Zosia, a silent ghost who died in the very sanatorium where he now works. Believing her to be a benign spirit with a deep regret, Janek begins piecing together the puzzle of her death, a mystery that seems entwined with the sanatorium's grim history and an unseen entity known as the 'Gloom Weaver'. As he deciphers Zosia's dream-borne clues and their unspoken bond deepens into a bittersweet love, Janek realizes the Gloom Weaver's next target is Milena. He races to break the curse, believing that solving Zosia's murder will set her free and save his sister. But what if setting her 'free' isn't the key to her peace, but the final step in the Weaver's century-old trap?
