The Smiling Orchid of Nakhon Studios

Orava wakes up dangling fifty feet in the air from a tangled wire harness over a bioluminescent film set, completely unfazed. Everyone at Nakhon Studios thinks she is a sweet, airheaded rookie who relies purely on her dazzling smile to get by - including her beloved senior mentor, Soriya. But Soriya is hiding a dark secret: she possesses a Stardom Siphon System that demands she steal Orava's most treasured possessions to drain her rising luck. From a heavily annotated script to a handmade childhood hairpin, Soriya pilfers them all. Yet, every theft backfires beautifully. Shielded by an ancient, invisible blessing from a forgotten temple, Orava secretly notices the missing items but, rather than despairing, she simply improvises, turning missing props into viral, heartwarming moments on camera. Told in alternating third-person perspectives between the radiant Orava and her increasingly frantic mentor, the story follows Orava as she melts the heart of Makara - an aloof, perfectionist leading man who initially despised her lack of traditional training. As Soriya's system furiously demands more items to avoid karmic bankruptcy, Orava and Makara are drawn into a dazzling, unscripted romance. But what happens when the desperate System demands the one thing Orava refuses to lose?
