The Silent Melody of Us

In the bustling heart of modern Kyoto, Hikari, a gentle soul with a profound love for literature, finds her world turned upside down when a peculiar system activates. Every time she genuinely connects with someone, a fragment of their inner monologue, rich with advanced vocabulary, manifests directly into her mind. Initially overwhelming, this 'gift' becomes a window into the hidden depths of those around her, forcing her to confront not only the beautiful complexities of human emotion but also her own deeply ingrained fear of misunderstanding. She longs for a genuine connection, one where words aren't just definitions but shared feelings. But when she encounters a brilliant yet enigmatic musician whose 'words' are a symphony of melancholic poetry, Hikari must decide if she's brave enough to truly listen, to decipher the silent melody of his heart, and to let herself be heard, even if it means risking the profound heartbreak of misinterpretation.
