The Shameless Masterpiece

Shavara Denth was the pride of the Opherix Crystal Forges, a delicate genius and the unforgettable first love of Lord Kethran. That is, until a severe case of Vitro-Blight forced her into a two-year secret quarantine. She finally recovers, returning on the exact day a courier mistakenly delivers a breathtakingly tacky glass figurine of Kethran kissing her terrified lookalike, Ninza. Confronted at his estate, Kethran whimpers the ultimate cliché: 'I thought you were never coming back.' Shavara’s response? A shameless cackle, revealing she only tolerated his terrible poetry because his estate had the best sand-kilns in the city. Leaving Kethran to eventually be scammed out of his entire fortune by his tearful stand-in, Shavara sets her sights on the Imperial Menagerie Commission. She strikes an unholy alliance with her fiercely stoic rival, Voshari Fenn, whose hostility masks a bittersweet, unspoken devotion. But as they forge towering glass leviathans to secure her legacy, Shavara uncovers a chilling truth. Her trusted mentor didn't just fail to cure her - he engineered the Blight itself. Can she shatter his conspiracy before the entire city shatters with her?
