The Scarred Strategist

In a world shattered by the Calamity, where arcane beasts roam and cities are besieged, Elias, a disgraced former military strategist, wallows in self-loathing. Haunted by the catastrophic loss of his last command, he possesses an extraordinary gift: a tactical foresight that allows him to simulate thousands of battlefield outcomes in moments. Now, relegated to defending a forgotten frontier outpost with a ragtag group of outcasts, Elias sees the coming storm - a monstrous horde unlike any before. He must leverage his 'unlucky' visions, often dismissed as ill omens, to protect the innocent. But every calculated victory reopens old wounds, forcing him to confront the lingering guilt of his past failures, even as he faces an enemy that seems to learn from his every move. The fate of the last human settlements rests on the shoulders of a man broken by his own brilliance.
