The Scarlet Shadow Broker

Elara, a timid herbalist haunted by the village's judgment over her scarred face, discovers an ancient grimoire pulsing with forbidden blood magic. With a touch, she can now manipulate life force, mending flesh or twisting it into grotesque weapons. A creeping plague, born from the withered heart of the Moonwood, threatens to consume her home, slowly transforming its victims into monstrous husks. The village, desperate and superstitious, blames the blight on her 'unholy' presence. Elara must master her volatile new power, not only to cure the spreading affliction but to prove her worth to those who ostracized her, all while hiding the monstrous cost of her magic. If she fails, the Moonwood will claim them all, and Elara will be branded the very evil they fear.
