The Pendelton Legacy

After his wife's passing, 65-year-old Arthur Pendelton, a man who yearns for the quiet predictability of his retired watchmaker's life, seeks solace in the decrepit Blackwood Manor. Despite ominous warnings from the local deliveryman, Tom, about a curse, Arthur dismisses them as mere superstition. Yet, the manor soon reveals its true, terrifying nature. Every night at precisely 3:14 AM, a heavy, rhythmic thumping emanates from the basement. His investigation uncovers the journal of the manor's original architect, detailing a monstrous entity trapped beneath the very foundations. With his newfound, almost supernatural attention to detail honed by decades of watchmaking, Arthur realizes he's not just in a house, but a prison for something ancient and malevolent, threatening to break free and devour the world beyond.
