The Golden Leash of Clan Kadek

Kenji Lim only ever wanted to paint. Living in a cramped apartment, selling his art on the bustling streets of Taring Bay, his biggest worry was making rent. That is, until a frantic chase through the city's neon-lit alleys ends with him face-to-face with the legendary Kadek Clan, a secret dynasty of martial artists who control the global underworld from the shadows. They tell him he's the clan's sole heir, the illegitimate son of their late patriarch, and the new master of their immeasurable fortune and devastating power. Overnight, his paint-stained hands are given the reins to an empire. But the lavish lifestyle is a gilded cage. His every move is scrutinized, his 'advisors' whisper veiled threats, and the family's ancient enemies now have a new primary target. Kenji soon realizes he wasn't found to lead; he was found to be a pawn in a deadly succession game. Can a shy artist who prefers canvas to combat learn to master a power he never wanted and outwit the very family that holds his golden leash?
