Kael Frost, a man with a past he can't quite remember, awakens in Tera, a modern world plagued by sudden, terrifying horror dungeons. Unbeknownst to him, his peculiar 'dungeon architect' ability, which manifests as a playful 2D game interface, is actually manifesting these very nightmares into reality. As 'dungeon crawlers' bravely risk their lives to prevent cataclysmic 'dungeon breaks,' Kael, shrouded in an eerie detachment, casually crafts his next 'game level,' oblivious to the suffering he unwittingly causes. He views the world as his personal canvas for fear, a thrilling game of his own design. But with each dungeon created, the fabric of Tera stretches thinner, pushing the world closer to an irreversible abyss. Can Kael ever see beyond his game, or will his terrifying amusement doom them all?
