The Echo of Our Bones

I was a military historian who died in a stupid, pointless accident. I woke up in the body of Zosia va Kost, the so-called 'Saintess of Silence,' a revered oracle about to be exposed as a fraud and executed. This kingdom, Kaskovia, is a land steeped in eerie mist and haunted by the echoes of a devastating magical war. The only reason I'm still breathing is a desperate lie: I claimed my 'divine silence' was a vow, broken only now to deliver a prophecy of victory against the encroaching Voryan invaders. My bluff catches the ear of General Marek Sova, the cold, brilliant commander of Kaskovia’s armies. He's desperate, and I'm his last, insane hope. Using wargames and guerrilla tactics centuries ahead of their time, I start turning the tide. But the 'miracles' this body can perform come with a horrifying price - a creeping, spiritual decay that no one warned me about. Can I save this kingdom and win the general's heart before the saintly power I'm faking devours me from the inside out?
