The Culinarian's Appraisal

I was supposed to die in a hospital bed, counting my last breaths. Instead, the 'Convergence' happened. A system descended upon Earth, monsters poured from reality-tearing 'Breaches,' and a select few like me 'Awakened' with unique skills. While others got god-tier combat abilities, I received [Ingredient Appraisal], a skill fit for a grocer, not a survivor. Resigned to my fate, I was sent to the Bastion, a fortified academy meant to train humanity’s saviors. Here, surrounded by S-Rank prodigies, my useless skill was a joke. But hunger is a great motivator.
