The Cipher on the Orloj

Lennart Kaiho, Valasky's most brilliant but indolent analyst, wants nothing more than to be left alone. His quiet life was shattered when he was framed for academic fraud by the infamous 'Iron Moth,' Vieno Rostova, a woman whose name is synonymous with cold-blooded espionage. Demoted to a mind-numbing archival job, Lennart is content to coast until the sudden death of their mutual mentor forces them into an uneasy proximity. While investigating the sabotage that ruined his career, Lennart stumbles upon a second mystery: an anonymous benefactor is pouring a fortune into the very medical research his ailing younger sister depends on. As he digs deeper, the clues to the sabotage and the identity of the secret philanthropist begin to converge on one impossible person: Vieno. Why would the woman who destroyed his reputation be secretly saving the one person he loves? To find the truth, Lennart must decipher the motives of a woman locked behind a mask of villainy, uncovering a conspiracy that has already claimed one life and is coming for theirs next.
