Kaelen Vance, a cynical soul from Earth, finds himself reborn into Aethel, a fractured world ruled by inscrutable 'Systems' granting arbitrary powers. Instead of a warrior’s might or a mage’s spell, Kaelen's unique cheat allows him to manipulate these Systems through music – a "System Bard" capable of rewriting the very rules of reality. But this seemingly miraculous ability comes with a terrifying realization: the Systems aren't benevolent boons; they are parasitic chains, slowly draining Aethel’s life force. The world teeters on the brink of collapse, its magic fading, its people unknowingly feeding an unseen master. Kaelen must master his dangerous craft, confront cosmic entities known as the Weavers of Fate, and unravel the insidious symphony of control before Aethel becomes a silent, hollow husk.
