The Antique Needle's Echo

I was once Wei Zhelan, the Verdant Needle Sage, a physician whose acupuncture could cheat destiny itself. Now, I am Shin Jihan, a clumsy university student in a world of steel towers and flashing screens. My boundless spiritual power is gone, my meridians are shattered, and my only connection to my past life is the faint echo of Qi I can feel humming within ancient jade. I was content to live this quiet, second life, cherishing the warmth of my new younger sister, Yuna. But this body I inhabit holds a terrible secret. Its previous owner was a hunter, and his enemies - pale, ravenous creatures of the night that this world calls vampires - are now hunting me. They see a weak, broken vessel, but they don't know the soul that resides within. Using antique relics as my only source of power, I will re-thread the pathways of cultivation, one painful needle at a time. But can I become strong enough to protect Yuna before this borrowed body, and the life it came with, is finally destroyed?
