Kaelen Varr, a meticulous Temporal Preservation Agent, swore an oath to safeguard history's immutable flow. His current assignment: discreetly observe a pivotal 21st-century summit, a delicate turning point for galactic peace. But just as the archival light-streams pulsed, a catastrophic chronal surge ripped through his vessel, tearing him from his secure observation point. He crash-landed in a brutal, unfamiliar version of the past, scarred by an impossible war – a reality that should not exist. Worse, his comms are dead, his temporal signature erased, and the only other survivor is Xylo-7, a sharp-tongued Chronal Innovation Collective agent, Kaelen's ideological rival. Both their agencies, sworn enemies, now seem to have orchestrated their mutual destruction, trapping them as scapegoats in a fractured timeline. Stranded, hunted, and utterly betrayed, Kaelen must now forge an uneasy alliance with the very person he's trained to oppose, to unravel a conspiracy that threatens to rewrite existence itself before this corrupted past consumes them both.
