Suddenly, a chirpy announcer’s voice congratulates him and his younger sister, Jiao, on being unwillingly cast in a lethal supernatural reality show. Their premiere episode? Told in alternating perspectives between the exhausted soldier and his psychotic ghost bride, the bizarre romance blooms as she violently dismembers any monster - or female contestant - who looks at her new husband for too long. With a jealous yandere bride as his bodyguard, surviving the tasks is a breeze. But as the ratings skyrocket, will Wanshan realize his most trusted surviving squadmate is the one secretly pulling the strings?
