Starlight and Stolen Teacups

The night Mehdira strikes a shadowy bargain with the Karmic Weaver system, Zariyan is simply napping on the roof, oblivious to her step-sister's vow to steal her fate. The system’s rules are simple: pilfer Zariyan’s most cherished possessions to drain her celestial luck. But Zariyan is a hopelessly lazy astral-engineering prodigy whose treasured items are utterly mundane - a frayed silk sleeping pillow, a chipped teacup, and a cozy, worn-out shawl. As Mehdira successfully swipes these comforts and spreads vicious rumors of Zariyan's incompetence, Zariyan’s fiercely loyal friends just laugh, knowing the genius is far too indolent to cheat or scheme. But the system hides a fatal twist: the 'Fate Points' Mehdira earns are actually saturated with Zariyan’s heavy, stagnant astral lethargy. Every reward poisons Mehdira's own cultivation, rendering her sluggish and weak. Meanwhile, freed from her energy-dense clutter, Zariyan accidentally sheds her mental blocks. Drawn into a slow-burn romance with Zeydan - a rigidly disciplined star-scholar who finds himself inexplicably fetching her snacks and protecting her naps - Zariyan begins effortlessly solving century-old celestial equations. Will the crippled step-sister realize her prize was a curse before Zariyan ascends to the imperial pinnacle?
