.she is my exception - mirandy fanfiction

After a decade of icy perfection, Miranda Priestly, the formidable editor-in-chief of Runway, finds her meticulously constructed world upended by the return of Andrea Sachs. Once her beleaguered assistant, Andrea now wields an unexpected power: she's the lead publicist for Elias-Clark's newest rival, a chic digital magazine threatening Runway's very foundation. Miranda, a woman who has never bent for anyone, discovers a terrifying vulnerability as Andrea's sharp intellect and quiet defiance chip away at her defenses. The battle isn't just for industry dominance; it's a desperate struggle against a past she thought she buried and a future where her reign might just shatter, not from an external threat, but from the reawakening of a heart she vowed to keep locked away. Can she truly be an exception to the rules Miranda has lived by?
