Prayer and Magic

In 1984 post-colonial India, a routine school trip to Chennai takes a nightmarish detour when a bus full of children gets lost on the forbidden Mount Zion. A thick, unnatural fog descends, trapping them with no escape. Among the panicked passengers is Sid, a hot-headed intellectual, whose scientific mind is ill-equipped for the horrors unfolding. Mount Zion, unknown to mortals, is the physical temple of Yaldabaoth, the Demiurge, guarded by Archons – entities that can bend logic and perception. As children vanish and reality warps, Sid must navigate this cosmic labyrinth, his quick temper clashing with the unfathomable, trying to protect the innocent from deities whose very existence threatens sanity, all while clinging to a sliver of hope in a world consumed by ancient, unknowable terror.
