In 1984 post-colonial India, a school bus bound for Chennai veers off course, trapping Sid and his classmates on the forbidden Mount Zion. What began as a simple road trip quickly descends into Lovecraftian biblical horror as an impenetrable fog engulfs them, revealing the mountain's true nature: a physical temple to the malevolent Demiurge Yaldabaoth, guarded by its reality-bending Archons. Sid, a hot-headed but fiercely intellectual young man, is thrust into a terrifying, targeted entrapment. These ancient, unknowable entities warp logic and sanity, turning the once-familiar world into a maddening, impossible labyrinth where shadows whisper unspeakable truths. As his friends succumb to fear and cosmic delusion, Sid must leverage his sharp mind against beings that defy all reason and physics. Every turn plunges them deeper into the Archons' twisted domain, challenging not just their survival, but the very fabric of their sanity. Their only hope lies in understanding the monstrous 'prayers' that animate this place, before Mount Zion consumes them whole.
