Prayer and Magic

The year is 1984, in post-colonial India. Sid, a hot-headed but intellectually sharp student, expects a typical school trip to Chennai. Instead, their bus gets hopelessly lost in the swirling, unnatural fog of Mount Zion, a forbidden peak shrouded in local legends. What begins as an irritating delay swiftly transforms into a waking nightmare when the true inhabitants of Zion reveal themselves: Archons, ancient, reality-bending deities serving the incomprehensible Demiurge, Yaldabaoth. Trapped with innocent children, Sid must grapple with entities that shatter logic and twist perception, turning the mountain into a living prison. As sanity frays and fear becomes a tangible weapon, Sid’s sharp mind is his only shield against the cosmic horror unfolding. This isn't just a fight for survival; it's a desperate struggle to preserve reality itself from primordial forces using the children as pawns in a terrifying, ancient game of worship and despair.
