Ameer Hussein arrives in the bustling city, seeking a fresh start at university and a quiet escape from a past he'd rather forget. Staying with his mother's old friend, a woman weathered by life but brimming with warmth, he finds himself amidst her two enigmatic daughters. One, a fiery provocateur, challenges his every assumption, while the other, a study in silent observation, stirs a different kind of intrigue. As classes begin and a new rhythm takes hold, Ameer's only solace is the football field, where his almost supernatural talent for the game shines. But beneath the veneer of ordinary university life, something extraordinary - and potentially dangerous - is stirring, threatening to shatter his carefully constructed peace and reveal the true nature of his new home and its inhabitants. Ameer soon discovers that in this city, nothing is as normal as it seems, and his heart might be the biggest prize.
