Night Shift Menagerie

I'm Banto Silar. I work the graveyard shift at the Obarto Mega-Mall. I’m drowning in debt, my uniform is held together by duct tape, and I’m secretly in love with Nisra, the sweet night-shift florist who is tragically allergic to animal dander. My rock-bottom life gets a whole lot weirder when a misdelivered crate bites my finger, awakening the [Beast Caretaker System]. It promised me wealth and domestic bliss if I completed simple pet-raising missions. The catch? I have to do them in broad daylight, in the most crowded plazas in the city. I've had to sing lullabies to a fire hydrant and bottle-feed a feral street pigeon in front of hundreds of laughing shoppers. But the rewards are the real trap! That 'Designer Watch' I won? It's a metallic, blood-sucking tick that throws a tantrum if I look at other jewelry. The 'Luxury Sedan'? A two-ton rhinoceros-beetle that drinks premium unleaded gas and demands belly rubs. I’m getting rich, but my tiny apartment is a zoo of disguised monsters. Can I survive the System's traps long enough to pay off my debts, or will my needy pets destroy my only chance at a normal life?
